On Sunday, May 20, 2012, the 27th Annual AIDS Walk New York will take place in New York’s Central Park.
I’m
writing for your support to provide a massive showing from members of
the Occupy Movement to participate in the world’s largest gathering of
its kind. We would like to invite Michael Moore or some other high
profile individual of the Occupy Movement to serve as the grand marshal
and honorary chair for the event. For anyone who wish to assist on this
initiative please contact me.
Our
message for the day is that we are the 99%, that we raise the issue of
HIV/AIDS awareness and more importantly that we care about our brothers
and sisters who are infected and affected with HIV/AIDS.
The
day will begin by signing in at 8:00 A.M., with the walk to kick-off at
10:00 A.M. Perhaps a General Assembly meeting could take place on
the Great Lawn in Central Park at approximately 3:00 P.M. I invite your
